Insurance excess charges are payable on return of the hire vehicle if any damage has occurred. (Tyres, windscreen, keys and other items are not covered by the insurance excess).

Overhead damage is not covered by Adelphi Self Drive and is the full responsibility of the hirer.

No vehicles should be returned out of opening hours. Vehicles returned in a dirty condition will be liable to a valeting charge.

When customer's own insurance is used, cover must be comprehensive and appropriate insurance documents provided to Adelphi Self Drive before commencement of the hire. (If damage occurs whilst on customer's own insurance, the hirer is still liable to pay for the vehicle in full until it is returned in its original condition or full settlement of the vehicle value has been recovered by Adelphi Self Drive).

Extra drivers can be covered by Adelphi Self Drive at additional cost provided an insurance proposal form has been completed to Adelphi Self Drive regulations.

Half day hire: N/A.
Overnight hire: N/A.
1 day hire: 9am to 8am next day, any day of the week
1 day & overnight hire: 4:30pm to 8am next morning but one, Monday to Friday only.
(i.e. Mon 4:30pm to Wed 8am)
Weekend hire: 4:30pm Friday to 8am Monday.
(All subject to availability and changes on Bank Holidays)

Vehicles will only be reserved when the licence check is complete and the rental is paid for in full by using an acceptable credit or debit card.
(Please note hirers with an out of town, non PR postcode, will need a credit card to reserve any vehicle)

A deposit of 250.00 pounds will also be payable upon collection of any vehicle.

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate any booking or hire without prior notice.

All overall mileage limits for a specific period of hire are shown in brackets in the price boxes. Adelphi Self Drive reserves the right to determine and charge for excess mileage incurred within any rental period.

Once a booking is taken by Adelphi Self Drive your credit/debit card will be charged immediately for the cost of the hire period agreed. No monies will be refunded in the event of any alterations, date changes, cancellations or no shows.
Please note if appropriate I.D. or the terms and conditions are not adhered to in any way, and the rental cannot proceed, no refund will be made.

All drivers to be aged between 25 to 70 years inclusive with a full U.K. licence, held for a minimum of 2 years. Any endorsement or foreign licences to be cleared with Adelphi Self Drive prior to booking to avoid hire cancellation and incurring cancellation costs.

All accidents will be investigated due to the rise of fraudulent claims.

No animals are allowed in any Adelphi Self Drive vehicles.

Vehicles are valid for mainland U.K. use only. (Failure to comply will incur additional costs and possible prosecution).

Prices can be subject to change without prior notification.

Fuel is not included in any of the hire charges.

Adelphi Self Drive reserves the right to determine and charge for any fuel owing on return of the hire vehicle.

Smoking is illegal in any hire vehicle.

No animals are allowed in any Adelphi Self Drive vehicles.

Vehicles cannot be used for hire and reward (e.g. courier work, delivery drivers etc.).
